Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freak Show at the Folies Bergères
Until June 16th, 2019, the famous Théâtre des Folies Bergères presents a unique show that’s both original and eccentric and thus well suited to the personality of its creator, the fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier. This colourful show takes you into the world of haute couture and looks at more than half a century of trends, fashion parades and cutting-edge designs. A major contributor to the development of this fantastic show is the performer and songwriter Beatrice Demi Mondaine, who wrote some of the music.
A Tribute to John Williams at the Grand Rex
The American conductor, composer and pianist John Williams is known for his unforgettable film music. Everyone remembers his powerful and evocative scores for the much-loved movies Jaws, Schindler’s List, Hook, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of the Lost Ark and many more. So, it’s entirely apt that the Grand Rex cinema will be the venue for an exceptional tribute gathering together a hundred musicians. This concert, scheduled for April 20th, 2019, will celebrate the most beautiful musical scores of John Williams, a man who has left a lasting mark on the history of cinema.
A Special Evening with The National at the Olympia
Matt Berninger and The National will ignite the stage of the Olympia on April 16th. One of five special concerts The National will be performing, this evening will celebrate the 20-year career of this highly regarded American rock band, the 2018 best alternative music album Grammy award winners for Sleep Well Beast. A party not to be missed!
